Volunteer Organization Colleague Circle

Friday, November 20, 10 am - noon, Cheshire Historical Society. "Stump the Experts", hosted and facilitated by Diane Calabro, President of the Cheshire Historical Society. Your organization relies on a small number of unpaid workers to accomplish tasks from cleaning the restroom to installing exhibits and giving school tours. You've got a million questions, and we've got answers. Bring questions on any topic that interests you - we'll try to answer them. If we can't, we'll do some research and find you answers!  Joining the group will be collections expert, Kathy Craughwell-Varda, archives and digitization expert Christine Pittsley, and surprise guests!

The two hour session will include:

 - Light refreshments

 - an informal, roundtable discussion led by Diane Calabro and Liz Shapiro, where you get to ask your questions to our professional experts!

 - a brainstorming session on next topics for the Volunteer Organization Colleague Circle

 - Networking, questions & visit to the museum

The Cheshire Historical Society is located at 43 Church Dr, Cheshire, CT 06410

What is a CLHO Colleague Circle?

In response to requests from the Needs and Satisfaction Survey that was conducted earlier this year, the CLHO has developed a series of programs that are designed to meet the specific needs and interests of CLHO members. Each Colleague Circle has been developed with a specific interest group in mind so that program speakers, topics and discussions can be better focused to meet participant's needs. Four groups have already been scheduled for the fall, feel free to attend the one that piques your interest and fits your needs.
